Going Live! Rules & Tips

The best way to quickly understand how to do our Lives is to watch one! I highly recommend watching before participating. It’s not as complicated as it seems from the notes below, and the most common response people have after their first time is: “That was FUN!”

Live Set-up & Telegram

You can check the Lives you have signed up for at “Your Schedule”
 
You must also be a member of our Telegram group(s) to go live! We have a different group for each free live category: No minimum IG Live (Free) and 10k+ IG Live (Free). The 10k+ group has a minimum like requirement of 500 authentic likes, so if you aren’t there yet then join the No Minimum group. We review all members of the 10k+ Group to make sure they not only have over 10k followers but also an average of 500+ likes on their posts. If you do not have this many likes, you should join the No Minimum Group until you do. 
 
You should have 2 devices. When it’s time for you to go live you should have one device set up as your camera. You should also have a second device so you can chat with the other members in your live via one of our Telegram Groups to troubleshoot and communicate about how to get into the live. 

Signing Up & Cancellations

Sign up using “Book A Live” in the menu above. 

Free Lives
 

You can signup for as many free Lives as you want, but please only sign up for those Lives you are prepared to do and cancel as little as possible. You are allowed to cancel up to 24 hours prior to your Live time without any stipulations, but if you cancel within 24 hours of your Live time then it is your responsibility to find a replacement. 

To do so, we suggest you log into your appropriate Telegram group and let everyone know that you have to cancel and that you need a replacement. Once you have your replacement, message her and whoever is hosting the Live and introduce them so the host knows to let the replacement into the Live. If you were scheduled to be the host, you need to find a replacement who can host or (on top of finding a replacement) ask someone already signed up for the Live if they can host. Failure to find a replacement if you cancel in under 24 hours before your Live can result in your being banned from the group. 

Paid Lives

We have a 48 hour cancelation policy for paid Lives, so you may reschedule up to 48 hours prior to your start time with no penalty. If you cancel within 48 hours, you will forfeit the price of the Live. If we do not have 3 models signed up by 2 hours prior to the start time, the Live will be automatically canceled and you will be able to reschedule. 

On each night’s schedule it will say whether you are hosting or not as signified by the word “HOST” next to your name.

Live Safety - Clothing & Dancing

It is very important that we all wear “safe” clothing and practice “safe” dancing. This means clothing and dancing that don’t cause viewers to report the Live as going against the Community Guidelines. 

Remember: 1) a host has the right to kick you out if they are at all nervous about what you’re doing, and 2) your account can get reported and deleted if you are not safe in Lives. All you need is to look good and to do a little (non dirty) dancing or even just sit there on your phone. See here [link] for an example clip.

You should not wear just underwear (panty and bra). You can wear a panty and bra, but you should be wearing something over them (for instance, a skirt over the panty and a shirt over the bra), even if the skirt and shirt are skimpy or somewhat see-thru. The important thing is that you are not just dancing in your underwear. Workout clothes, swim suits, cosplay bras, and boy shorts are fine.

You should not engage in any risky behavior during your Live. This means no drugs, no dangerous activities, no bending over with your butt in the camera, no spreading of your legs, no closeup shots of body parts, no sex toys, no sexual gestures or activities, no “friend” you’re dancing with or touching (no one else should be in your Live but you!) 

On the topic of dancing, we do dancing Lives by default because Lives where you’re dancing or even just sitting on your phone looking sexy get more views than talking ones, and therefore more follows. If you prefer a talking Live, instead of using this calendar you should reach out to our Telegram group to independently organize one.

Here is a summary of what you should not do:

  • no bra and underwear alone – put something over them!
  • no thongs
  • no pulling panties up your crack
  • no panties on their own – put something over them!
  • no bending over
  • no spreading legs
  • no twerking
  • no “stretching” or doing the “splits”
  • face front at least half the time
  • no drugs
  • no dangerous activities
  • no sex toys or sex acts
  • no “guests”
  • no having your camera off for most of the live

Hosting A Live

Every Live needs a host who plays music. In order to spread this responsibility evenly among all models, we randomly assign a host for each Live when the schedule is posted the night before. If the word “HOST” appears next to your name in the schedule we post, you are hosting and playing music for that Live. If for some reason you cannot play music, you need to reach out to the other models in your group and find someone who can play music. Same goes for if you can’t host – you need to find someone in your group who can. 

Music should be played on a device that is separate from the one you are doing your Live on. You MUST ONLY USE uncopyrighted music. Using copyrighted music will likely get your Live cancelled by Instagram, and potentially your account penalized.

If you are the host of a free Live and you feel someone is doing something that is too hot, you have two options. First, you can @ them in the Telegram group and ask them to stop doing whatever they’re doing. Second, you can screenshot what they are doing and kick them out of the Live. Then you must dm @yourbestinsta on Telegram with the screenshot and an explanation of what happened. Please do not kick someone out without taking a screenshot and dming it to us so that we can mediate the situation effectively.
 
If you are the host of a paid Live and you feel someone is doing something that is too hot, alert the host. We will check immediately to see what is going on and guide you on how to respond.

Etiquette and Getting into a Live

Everyone in the Live should be following each other on IG, but more specifically the host must be following the other 3 models and the 3 models must be following the host. When it’s time to start please tell the Telegram group that you are ready. If you’re the host, let the group know the Live is starting.
 

For Hosts:

To start a Live as a host, first set up your camera and go live as illustrated in Figure A below. You can also start the music now if you would like. There are three different ways to get someone into a Live. For all of them you click the video icon with the plus sign at the bottom of your screen (Figure B).  Here are the three ways as illustrated in Figure C:

1. If the model was able to “request to join,” you will see their name under “Requests” and you tap the circle next to their name and hit Invite to invite them.  However, this feature is buggy so sometimes models cannot request to join. 

2. If you see the model under “Send Invites” (she will be near the top of the list) then click the circle next to their name and invite them. 

3. If you don’t see the model there then click search, type in their username, and then select them and invite. 

For Non-Hosts:

If you are joining a Live, then when the host goes live you enter her room. If you can request to join then do so. If that feature doesn’t work you can let her know via Telegram that she needs to invite you. Then you hit accept. If you are not seeing it then you go to your notifications screen (where you see new likes and new followers). Keep an eye on this and the top bar for the notification. If you see the top bar pop up it will say “X has invited you to go live in their room” – you tap on it and then hit join. Sometimes you will miss the top bar because it goes away too quickly. In this case the request will show up in your notifications. When you find it there you tap it to join.
